Ingredients:
• Raw green Mango – 1 big
• Green chillies – 6 or 7
• Roasted Peanuts – 1 cup
• Turmeric – 1 pinch
• Oil – 1 spoon
• Urad Dal – 1 spoon
• Mustard – 1 spoon
• Jeera (cumin seeds) – 1 spoon
• Curry leaves – for seasoning
• Salt – to taste
Method:
- Cut the mango into 1 inch pieces.
- Grind peanuts to powder in a mixer.
- Add the raw mango pieces, chillies, salt and some water.
- Grind into a paste.
- Heat oil in a bowl. Add mustard, jeera, urad dal and curry leaves.
- When they start spluttering, add turmeric and the ground mango chilli paste.
- Mix well and turn off the heat.
- This goes well with rice, dosa, idli, rotis, bread.
