
Ingredients:
• 2 cups – spinach, chopped into fine pieces
• 2 cups – Chickpea flour (senagapindi, besan)
• 1 – small onion, chopped fine or lengthwise (optional)
• some Green chillies
• pinch – Soda
• Cilantro leaves (optional)
• salt – to taste
• oil – 2 tbsp
Method:
- Mix together all the ingredients except oil to make a thick paste. Do not add too much water. Keep aside.
- Pour oil in a pan and when it is hot, take small portions of the batter and drop carefully into the hot oil.
- Deep fry until they turn into golden brown.
- Then transfer them into a plate lined with a paper towel to remove excess oil.
- Repeat the same process with rest of the batter.
- Transfer all the deep fried pakodas into a serving plate and enjoy with desired sauce or dip.
