Ingredients:
• 2 cups – Shredded Spinach
• 2 tbsp – Grated Bottle Gourd or white pumpkin
• 1 tsp – Fresh Cream (optional)
• salt to taste
• Pepper to taste
• 1 small blob – Butter
• 2 tbsp – Milk
• 2 cups – Chicken stock.
Method:
- Wash the spinach well and put it in a large vessel.
- Add 1/4 tsp salt and add the gourd to it.
- Cover with a lid and boil on high until soft.
- Take off the fire and put it in a colander.
- Pour some cold water over it.
- Now blend it in a mixie until smooth.
- Take a deep pan and add water.
- Add all the blended ingredients except the cream to it.
- Let it boil.
- Beat the cream for the garnishing.
- Serve with warm garlic rolls or soup sticks.
