Ingredients:

• 500 g – minced Mutton
• 1 cup – yogurt
• 4 tbsp – pure Ghee
• Grind together:
• 1 tbsp – Cashew nuts
• 1 tbsp – Almonds
• 1 tbsp – roasted gram
• 1 inch – Cinnamon
• 4 – Cloves
• 3 – Cardamom
• 7 to 8 – pepper Corns
• 1inch – Ginger
• 6 to 8 flakes – Garlic
• 1 tbsp – coconut, grated
• 1 /2 tsp – Caraway seeds
• 3 – Red Chillies

Method:

  1. Hang yogurt in a muslin cloth to allow excess water to drain.
  2. Beat yogurt, then mix it with all the ground ingredients and the mince, and place in an aluminium or steel bowl.
  3. Make a well in the centre, place a burning red charcoal in it and dribble ghee over it. Cover the bowl immediately.
  4. Leave it for 2 minutes. Remove the charcoal and mix the mince mixture with 4 tbsp of ghee.
  5. Flatten it on a greased microwave dish.
  6. Microwave for 35 to 40 minutes.
  7. When done, let it cool for some time, then cut it into wedges.
  8. Garnish with lemon and onion rings.
