Ingredients:

• 3 cups-rice
• 1 cup- Urad Dal
• 1/2 cup-poha (rice flakes)
• 1 tsp-methi seeds

Method:

  1. Soak rice, urad dal and methi seeds together in water for 3-4 hours.
  2. Soak rice flakes, (poha) separately in little water.
  3. Grind to smooth paste and add salt.
  4. Allow it to ferment for 6-8 hours.
  5. Heat the tava and pour thick dosas.
  6. Add a spoon of oil or ghee.
  7. Turn over and cook in medium flame till golden.
  8. Serve with chutney of your choice.
