
Ingredients:
• 1 cup – besan (gram flour)
• 2 cups – Ghee
• 2 cups – Sugar
• 2 cups – water
Method:
- Separate the ghee into two equal parts.
- Mix the besan with 1 part of ghee.
- The mixture should be without lumps.
- Keep the remaining 1 part of ghee aside.
- Grease a plate and keep aside.
- Pour water in a pan and add sugar to it.
- Keep stirring till the syrup reaches 1-string consistency.
- Then slowly add the besan and ghee mixture to this syrup.
- Keep stirring.
- Let it cook over medium flame.
- Keep adding the remaining part of ghee to this mixture in small quantities.
- Do not stop stirring.
- The mixture will start to leave the sides of the pan.
- Also the mixture will start turning red at the base.
- All this takes 10-15 mins.
- At this point, pour it into the greased plate and let it cool.
- Cut it into parts and serve.
