Ingredients:

• 1 cup – soy flakes
• 1 cup – Sugar
• 1 litre – Milk
• 1 tsp – soy flour or Corn flour
• Few elaichi, cashew nuts, roasted
• Little Ghee

Method:

  1. Place soy flakes in hot water for 5 mins.
  2. Drain the water thoroughly.
  3. Heat ghee, add soy flakes and fry them. Add milk.
  4. When it boils, add sugar and soy or cornflour.
  5. Decorate with elaichi and cashews.
  6. Soy payasam is ready to serve.
