Ingredients:
• spaghetti – 200 gm
• Butter – 4 tbsp
• oil – 1/3 cup
• Cloves 2
• Bay Leaf 1
• dried Thyme – 1 tsp
• minced Meat – 1/2 kg
• Carrot 1, chopped
• Celery 2 stalks, chopped
• Onions 2, chopped
• Tomatoes – 1/2 kg, peeled and chopped
• button Mushrooms – 200 gm, chopped
• Maida – 1 tbsp
• pepper to tastesalt to taste
Method:
- Cook spaghetti in plenty of boiling water to which a tsp of salt and 2 tsp of oil is added.
- Drain, rinse with cold water, toss in 1 tsp of oil and keep aside.
- Heat one and a half tbsps butter with remaining oil.
- Brown the meat in it.
- Add carrot, celery and onion.
- Fry for a few minutes.
- Add salt and pepper and tomatoes, bay leaf and thyme.
- Add 2 cups of water and simmer till the meat is cooked.
- Add mushrooms and simmer for 2 more minutes.
- Add the remaining butter and Maida.
- Simmer for 2 more minutes.
- Serve the spaghetti, topped with the sauce.
