Ingredients:
• 1/2 kg – Toor Dal
• 1/2 – fresh Coconut
• 10-12 – Green chillies
• 1 pinch – Hing
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Soak tuvar dal for 2 hours. Grind it coarsely without adding water.
- Sprinkle a little water on the tuvar dal and steam it in a pressure cooker for 15 mins.
- Add chopped green chillies, salt, shredded coconut and hing to the dal. Mix it well.
- Make small balls (small lime sized). Arrange them on an idli stand or cooker container and steam them for 10-12 mins.
- You can serve this nucchina unde with moor kolambu or chutney.
