Ingredients:

• 1 cup – fine vermicelli
• 3 cups – vitamin D Milk or thick Milk
• 1 can – sweetened condensed Milk
• 1/2 cup – Sugar (or according to taste)
• 4 tbsps – Butter
• A few Saffron threads
• 1/2 tsp – Cardamom powder
• Cashews, Raisins – for seasoning
• Blanched Almond pieces – for garnishing

Method:

  1. Take a heavy-bottom pan and boil milk.
  2. When it comes to boiling point, add sugar, saffron threads, cardamom powder and condensed milk.
  3. Keep it on medium flame and keep stirring at times to make sure that it doesn’t get burnt.
  4. In another pan, heat butter. Add cashews, vermicelli and raisins and roast it.
  5. Add this roasted mixture to the milk mixture and keep stirring it for 10-15 mins.
  6. Remove from stove and garnish it with blanched almond pieces.
  7. Refrigerate it for at least 1/2-1 hour and then it can be served as dessert.
