Ingredients:
• 4 cups – Rice
• 5 – big Potatoes
• 10 – Green chillies
• 1 – small piece of fresh Ginger
• 1 – stalk of fresh Mint
• 1 tbsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 tsp – Jeera
• 1.5 tbsp – Garam Masala
• salt to taste
• 5 tbsps – oil
Method:
- Cook the rice.
- Boil potatoes in a pressure cooker, peel the skin and cut into medium sized cubes.
- Grind ginger and chillies to a fine paste.
- Heat oil in a kadai and add jeera, turmeric powder, ground ginger chilli paste.
- Add the cubed potatoes and stir or a minute.
- Add salt and garam masala.
- Cook for 3 mins.
- Mix this curry with the cooked rice and serve with raitha.
