Ingredients:
• 1 kg – Chicken
• 1/2 – Onion chopped
• 1/2 – Tomato chopped
• 3 – Green chillies
• 1 tsp – Ginger(grated)
• 4 – Garlic pods
• 1/2 tsp – Nutmeg powder
• 1/2 tsp – Pepper powder
• 1 tsp – Cumin powder
• 2 tsp – Olive oil
• 1 tsp – Paprika powder
• Salt as per taste
• 1 pinch -Turmeric powder.
Method:
- Wash the chicken and cut it horizontally.
- You can remove the skin of the chicken or keep the skin.
- Now cut the onion and the tomato into small pieces.
- Grind the onion, tomato, ginger, garlic, green chillies, nutmeg powder, cumin powder, pepper powder, paprika powder and olive oil into a coarse paste.
- Marinate the chicken in this for 6 to 8 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 300 degree F and bake the marinated chicken in a tray covered with aluminium foil in the middle rack of the oven for at least 2 hours.
- Check after every 30 mins to see if the chicken is done.
- In the last 20 mins remove the aluminium foil and bake uncovered until the skin is crisp.
- Serve with bread or chapatti.
