Ingredients:

• 1 kg – Chicken
• 1/2 – Onion chopped
• 1/2 – Tomato chopped
• 3 – Green chillies
• 1 tsp – Ginger(grated)
• 4 – Garlic pods
• 1/2 tsp – Nutmeg powder
• 1/2 tsp – Pepper powder
• 1 tsp – Cumin powder
• 2 tsp – Olive oil
• 1 tsp – Paprika powder
• Salt as per taste
• 1 pinch -Turmeric powder.

Method:

  1. Wash the chicken and cut it horizontally.
  2. You can remove the skin of the chicken or keep the skin.
  3. Now cut the onion and the tomato into small pieces.
  4. Grind the onion, tomato, ginger, garlic, green chillies, nutmeg powder, cumin powder, pepper powder, paprika powder and olive oil into a coarse paste.
  5. Marinate the chicken in this for 6 to 8 hours.
  6. Preheat the oven to 300 degree F and bake the marinated chicken in a tray covered with aluminium foil in the middle rack of the oven for at least 2 hours.
  7. Check after every 30 mins to see if the chicken is done.
  8. In the last 20 mins remove the aluminium foil and bake uncovered until the skin is crisp.
  9. Serve with bread or chapatti.
