Ingredients:

• 3 whole medium size trout, Pomfret or any other fish.
• 2 tsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 2 tsp – Lime juice
• 2 tsp – chilli powder 1 tsp – spice powder or Garam Masala
• 2 tbsp – flour
• 2 tbsp – oil
• salt to taste.

Method:

  1. Trim, clean and remove the insides of the fish. Then wash well.
  2. Mix the vinegar, lime juice, ginger garlic paste, salt, chilli powder, spice powder and flour in a bowl.
  3. Slit the fish side ways and make a few gashes on top with knife.
  4. Apply the paste all over the fish and inside as well. Let it marinate for about 30 mins.
  5. Place the fish in a buttered baking dish. Drizzle oil all over.
  6. Bake in a moderate oven (355 degrees F) for 25-30 mins.
  7. Serve with bread or rice.
