Ingredients:

• Carrots- 2
• Green chillies- 10
• Garlic cloves- 3
• Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp
• Urad Dal – 1 tsp
• Red chillies- 2
• Curry leaves – 1 sprig
• Lemon – 2
• Turmeric powder- a pinch
• Salt to taste
• Oil for seasoning

Method:

  1. Peel the skin of carrots, grate them, and set aside.
  2. Grind green chillies and garlic cloves and mix them with the grated carrots.
  3. Add salt according to your taste.
  4. Heat oil and add mustard seeds, red chillies, curry leaves, turmeric, and urad dal.
  5. When the seeds crackle, add the carrot mixture.
  6. Fry for 5 minutes.
  7. Take off heat.
  8. After the mixture cools down a little bit, add the lemon juice and mix well.
  9. Serve with rotis.
