Ingredients:

• 8 – Leftover idlis
• Onion – 2 or 3 medium size
• Curry leaves – few leaves
• Haldi powder – 1/4th tsp
• Chilli powder – 1 tsp
• Salt as per taste
• Coriander leaves – a few

Method:

  1. Powder the idlis with your hands.
  2. Don’t squash it, make it into small pieces.
  3. Then in a kadai, heat oil, add mustard seeds.
  4. After it splutters, add urad dal, curry leaves and then add onion after it has fried for few minutes.
  5. Put the idlis and if you have idli chutney powder (moligai pudi), mix it well.
  6. If it is not there, you can put chilli powder as per your taste.
  7. Then just sprinkle a few drops of water and close the lid with some plate.
  8. After sometime, garnish with coriander leaves and eat it hot.
