Ingredients:

• Lady’s Fingers – 10
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seed
• 1 tsp – Fenugreek seeds
• A few Curry leaves
• 5 – Red Chillies
• 1 small piece of Coconut
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric
• A ball sized Tamarind
• Salt
• Oil

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add the mustard and fenugreek seeds. Allow them to splutter. Then add 15 curry leaves.
  2. Take out, put it in the mixie along with a small piece of coconut and 5 red chillies and grind it to a paste.
  3. Mix turmeric and salt to the cut lady’s fingers and mix well.
  4. Take lukewarm water, add the tamarind in it and extract the juice.
  5. In a pan, fry the lady’s fingers till nice and brown.
  6. When the lady’s fingers are properly fried, add the masala and mix it well.
  7. Add the tamarind juice to it and salt as required.
  8. Let it cook for 5 mins.
  9. Take another pan, add a tsp of oil and mustard seeds to it and allow to splutter. Then add curry leaves.
  10. Pour it over the lady’s fingers.
