
Ingredients:
• 6 – burger buns
• 6 – Tomato slices
• 6 – Lettuce leaves
• 6 – Onion rings
• Tomato ketchup (as per taste)
• Chilli sauce (optional)
• Kraft burger sauce(optional)
• 6 – cheese slices
• 2 tbsp – Butter
• For the cutlets:
• 3 cups – Mixed vegetables (Cabbage, carrots, beans, Potatoes and peas)
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric
• salt to taste
• 1-2 tbsp – plain flour
• Chopped Coriander leaves
• bread crumbs
• oil
Method:
- Chop all vegetables finely.
- Heat the oil, add the vegetables and stir for a minute.
- Add turmeric, red chilli powder and salt.
- Mix well, cover and cook till the vegetables are cooked.
- Check and add plain flour, mix and cook a few minutes.
- Add coriander leaves, mix well.
- Shape this mixture into 6 cutlets, dip in bread crumbs. Shallow-fry on a non-stick pan, adding just a few drops of oil.
- To serve:
- Slice each bun into two horizontally.
- Apply a thin layer of butter on the cut side and heat these buns for a minute.
- Now arrange burgers as follows – ketchup, lettuce leaf, prepared cutlet, tomato slice, onion slice, cheese slice and the other optional items.
- Cover the bun and serve hot.
- Arrange these burgers in a plate with potato wafers.
