Ingredients:

• 2 cups – Button mushrooms(chopped)
• 20 stalks-Green onions(chopped)
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 1 tsp – Coriander leaves(chopped)
• 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• Salt to taste
• Oil
• To grind:
• 1-Tomato
• 1 tsp – Peppercorns
• 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 3- Red Chillies
• 1 tsp – Fennel seeds
• 1/4 cup – Grated Coconut
• 2 tsp – Coriander seeds
• 3 tsp – Poppy seeds.

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a kadai and splutter the cumin seeds. Now add the chopped green onions and stir them for a while. Then add the chopped mushrooms and the turmeric powder and salt and stir well. Add the garam masala and stir.
  2. Meanwhile grind all the ingredients for grinding with water into a fine paste.
  3. Now add the ground paste to the mushrooms and cook them until the oil get separates from the gravy.
  4. Garnish with coriander.
  5. Serve with rice.
