Ingredients:

• 2 cups – Sooji
• 1/2 cup – Curd
• 1 and 1/2 cup – Water
• 1 tsp – Eno Fruit Salt
• 2 tbsp – Oil
• 2 – Green Chillies, finely chopped (optional)
• Red Chillies, Hing and Kadi patta – For Tadka
• Coriander leaves
• Grated Coconut
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Mix sooji, curd, water and salt in a container and make it into a batter. Leave the batter for 1/2 an hour.
  2. Add Eno, salt and green chillies to the batter.
  3. Pour it in a greased dish and steam it for 10-12 minutes.
  4. Take it out in a separate dish and cut it into pieces.
  5. Prepare tadka of mustard seeds, red chillies, hing and kadi patta.
  6. Pour tadka on it, garnish the dhokla with coriander leaves and grated coconut.
  7. Serve with a spicy chutney.
