Ingredients:

• 4 medium-sized hard Pears
• 3 tbsp – Sugar
• 2 Cardamoms
• 1 piece Cinnamon
• 1 cup – Sugar
• 2 cups – water

Method:

  1. Peel the pears, remove the seeds, core and cut each into 4 pieces.
  2. Heat 2 cups of water in a pan, add the sugar, cardamoms and cinnamon.
  3. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the cut pears and simmer till the pears are soft.
  5. Remove from heat and cool.
  6. Serve with fresh cream or custard.
