Ingredients:

• Tofu – 2 big blocks, cut into small one inch cubes
• 1.5 tbsp – Corn flour mixed in 1/2 cup of water
• 3-4 Green chillies – finely chopped
• 4 tbsp- dark Soya sauce
• 2 inch Ginger – finely chopped
• 3 Cloves Garlic – finely chopped
• 3 tbsp – Vegetable oil/ Sesame oil
• 2 stalks – Spring onions, chopped
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Drain the tofu and soak in salt water for 10 mins.
  2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan/ wok. Stir-fry the garlic and ginger on a high flame for 30 seconds.
  3. Add green chillies to it and stir fry for another 10 secs.
  4. Reduce the flame and add the soya sauce and corn flour mix.
  5. Stir continuously.
  6. When the sauce starts thickening, add the tofu.
  7. Cook for 10 mins on a slow fire.
  8. Garnish with the spring onions.
  9. Serve hot with rice or chapattis.
