
Ingredients:
• stone apple – 2
• Sugar – 1 cup
• Cinnamon powder – 1 tbsp
• For Pastry:
• White flour – 200g
• Baking powder – 1 tbsp
• Salt to taste
• Oil / Ghee for deep frying
Method:
- Deseed apples and chop into small pieces.
- Heat a pan, add chopped apples and sugar.
- Cook till the sugar dissolves and apples becomes tender.
- Check if more sugar is needed because the apples might be sour.
- Add cinnamon powder and mix it.
- Take out and keep aside.
- Rub a little ghee/oil to the flour and add baking powder and salt.
- Kneed it to soft pliable dough with water.
- Roll the dough into small squares, add a spoonful of the apple mix in the centre.
- Seal the edges with a little water.
- In heavy bottomed pan, heat oil and fry it in a low fire till crispy.
