Ingredients:

• 1 cup – fresh ripe strawberries
• 1 cup – fresh Cream
• 2 tbsp – castor Sugar

Method:

  1. Wash and destalk the strawberries.
  2. Cut strawberries into four vertical sections. Keep two whole aside.
  3. If strawberries are sour, sprinkle a tsp of castor sugar over them.
  4. Beat fresh cream in a chilled bowl over a bowl of ice cubes.
  5. Beat till cream thickens enough to coat the spatula thickly.
  6. Add sugar and beat again till soft peaks form.
  7. Put a dollop of cream in a chilled glass.
  8. Add some strawberries and then repeat with cream and strawberries until glass is full.
  9. Slice whole strawberry till the base into 3-4 sections, but do not cut.
  10. Press open like a fan and place on top
  11. Serve fresh and chilled.
