Ingredients:
• Flan:
• 4 – eggs (separated)
• 4 oz – Icing Sugar
• 4 oz – Plain Flour + 1/2 tsp – Baking Powder OR 4 oz – Self Flour
• 1/2 tsp – Strawberry Essence.
• Filling:
• Fresh strawberries
• Strawberry Jam (warm)
• Whipped Cream
• Sugar
• Chocolate curls to decorate
Method:
- Beat egg whites till stiff.
- Beat egg yolks and sugar, add essence and add flour, fold in egg whites.
- Bake in a greased round pie dish at 200 degree C for 10-15 minutes.
- Allow it to cool.
- Turn the cake on upside down.
- Halve the strawberries and arrange on the cake.
- Brush with strawberry jam.
- Top it with whipped cream and chocolate curls.
