
Ingredients:
• For besan-curd mixture:
• 2 tbsp – gram flour
• 200 ml – Curd
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp – salt
• 1 cup – water
• Other ingredients:
• 1 – Green chilli
• 1/2-inch piece – chopped Ginger
• 1 tsp – Sugar
• 4 – Curry leaves
• 1 tsp – oil / Ghee
• 1 tsp – Cumin seed powder
Method:
- Blend curd, gram flour, turmeric powder and salt in a blender until it is creamy and smooth.
- Add 1 cup of water and blend it again.
- Make a smooth paste of green chilli and chopped ginger.
- In a bowl, mix blended gram flour-curd mixture, ginger-chilli paste, sugar and curry leaves together.
- Gently mix it well and cook on low heat for 10 – 12 minutes. Stir it occasionally.
- In a small pan, heat ghee or oil. Add jeera powder and stir it well on low heat for 30 seconds. You will get a nice aroma.
- Pour this seasoning over the kadhi and serve it with steamed rice.
