Ingredients:

• 400 g – paneer, cut into cubes
• 2 – medium size Onion (paste in mixie)
• 1 tsp – Garlic paste
• 2 tbsp- Sugar
• 1 tbsp – Vinegar
• 2 tsp – Tomato ketchup
• 1 tsp – chilli sauce
• 1 tsp – soya sauce
• 1/2 – cucumber, cut in circles
• 1/2 – carrot, cut in circles
• 1/2 – each of red, yellow and green Capsicums cut into cubes
• 5 to 6 – baby Corns
• 1 tea cup – Pineapple cubed and soaked in Sugar syrup for an hour
• 1.5 tbsp – Corn flour
• 1 pinch – ajinomoto
• Red Chilli powder
• 1 tbsp – sunflower oil/olive oil
• salt

Method:

  1. Boil cucumber, carrot, capsicum, babycorn and pineapple till all the vegetables become soft (preferably in a microwave).
  2. Add sunflower oil/olive oil to non stick pan. Saute the onion, garlic and 1 tsp sugar till slightly browned.
  3. Now add the tomato ketchup, chilli sauce, soya sauce and stir till the paste is cooked.
  4. Next add all the boiled fruits and vegetables along with the paneer and 2 cups of water.
  5. Now add the vinegar and sugar. Let it simmer.
  6. Now mix the corn flour in cold water and pour it on the paneer while stirring continuously.
  7. Once again let it simmer.
  8. Sprinkle ajinomoto and mix it well.
  9. Serve hot with fried rice or noodles.
