Ingredients:

• Rice – 1/2 kg
• Black gram dhal – 1/4 kg
• Bengal Gram dhal – 200 g
• Jaggery – 150 g
• Elaichi as required
• Oil for fry

Method:

  1. First soak the rice and black gram dal for five to six hours.
  2. Boil the Bengal gram dal in water. Grind the rice and black gram dal like a paste.
  3. With boiled Bengal gram dal, add jaggery and elaichi. Cook it till dry.
  4. Divide the dhal mixture into even sized portions. Shape each portion like a ball (size as you like).
  5. Cover with the rice and black gram dal paste.
  6. Take the oil in frying pan and heat the oil. Fry the covered dal portions.
