Ingredients:

• 200 g – seedless Dates
• 100 g – Tamarind
• 100 g – Jaggery
• 2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Cumin seed powder
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Pressure cook the dates, tamarind, jaggery and water on a medium flame till 3 whistles.
  2. Cool completely. Squeeze out the pulp.
  3. Add salt, red chilli powder and cumin seed powder.
  4. Mix well. Refrigerate in an airtight container.
