Ingredients:
• 3 cups – Maida
• 1 pinch – baking soda
• 2 cups – Sugar
• 1.5 cups – Ghee
• 1 cup – water
• Oil to deep fry
Method:
- Put 1 cup of water to the sugar and allow it to dissolve. You can stir it with a spoon so that it dissolves faster. Keep it aside.
- Mix maida and baking powder.
- Add the ghee and mix it.
- Now add the dissolved sugar syrup slowly and make soft dough.
- Do not make it too watery.
- Keep it aside for about 15 minutes.
- Make balls out of this dough and roll out to 1 inch thickness.
- Do not make it too thin.
- Now with a knife you can cut into desired shape [squares or diamonds].
