Ingredients:

• 1/2 kg -Jaggery or Brown sugar
• 1 kg – Rice
• 100 g – Sesame seeds
• 2 tsp – Fry Ginger powder
• Oil for frying.

Method:

  1. Wash and dry the rice.
  2. Grind it into a powder then sift it.
  3. Heat the jaggery in a pan with a cup of water until it melts.
  4. Simmer until it forms a one-string consistency syrup.
  5. Remove from heat and add the rice powder, sesame seeds and ginger powder.
  6. Now knead it into a thick dough.
  7. Heat oil in a pan until smoky.
  8. Now make small balls with the dough and flatten them.
  9. Deep Fried a few at a time until brown.
