Ingredients:
• 1/2 kg -Jaggery or Brown sugar
• 1 kg – Rice
• 100 g – Sesame seeds
• 2 tsp – Fry Ginger powder
• Oil for frying.
Method:
- Wash and dry the rice.
- Grind it into a powder then sift it.
- Heat the jaggery in a pan with a cup of water until it melts.
- Simmer until it forms a one-string consistency syrup.
- Remove from heat and add the rice powder, sesame seeds and ginger powder.
- Now knead it into a thick dough.
- Heat oil in a pan until smoky.
- Now make small balls with the dough and flatten them.
- Deep Fried a few at a time until brown.
