Ingredients:

• 1 cup – fresh Ridge gourd skin
• 2 tbsp – Tamarind pulp
• Salt to taste
• 2 tbsp – Sugar
• 1 tbsp – oil
• 1 tsp – cumin
• 1 tsp – mustard
• 2 – whole dry Red Chillies

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a thick pan, splutter jeera and mustard and add the red chillies and fry till crisp.
  2. Add the ridge gourd skin, and salt.
  3. Cover and cook till the skin is soft.
  4. Remove and cool, grind with all other ingredients.
  5. Serve.
