
Ingredients:
• 2 cups – Rice
• 1 cup – Urad Dal
• Rice and Urad Dal to be in the proportion 2:1
• powdered Sugar
• powdered elaichi
• dry fruits (badam, pista, walnut, cashew and dates)
Method:
- Soak 2 cups of rice and 1 cup of urad dal for four hours.
- Use a wet grinder to grind this (like for normal idlis) add powdered sugar (as per your taste), powdered cardamom (elaichi) and grind well. Leave it to ferment for a few hours.
- Pour the batter in the idli plates (after smearing oil on the idly plate), add dry fruits to each idli and steam for 15 mins.
- Remove soft fluffy sweet idlis and serve.
