
Ingredients:
• 3 tbsp – grated fresh Coconut
• 3 Cloves
• 3 sticks of Cinnamon
• 2 tbsp – flour (maida)
• 1 cup – peas, boiled
• 2 potatoes, boiled, peeled, cubed
• 2 tomatoes, chopped
• 1 cup – coriander leaves, chopped
• 3 green chillies, chopped
• 2 onions, chopped
• 2 tsp – Sugar
• 3 tbsp – oil
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Heat 1 tsp of oil.
- Gently fry cloves, cinnamon and coconut till golden. Remove. Set aside.
- Roast the flour in the same pan.
- Grind both with enough water to make a thick paste. Set aside.
- Heat remaining oil.
- Add onion and green chillies.
- Fry till golden.
- Add peas, potatoes, sugar, salt and tomatoes.
- Stir till tomatoes are soft.
- Add liquidized paste and enough water to make a thick gravy.
- Allow it to simmer and garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve with bread.
