Ingredients:

• 2 cups – Cooked Rice
• 2 tbsp – Oil
• 1 – Medium onion, chopped
• 1 – Small capsicum, chopped
• 1 tsp – Chopped Garlic
• 1/2 tsp – Chilli powder
• 3 – Spring onions thinly sliced
• 2 tbsp – Soya sauce
• 1/2 cup – Peas, boiled
• 2 – Carrots, sliced finely
• A pinch – Ajinomoto
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a suitable pan or a large wok. Saute the onions, capsicum, garlic and chilli powder for about 3-4 mins.
  2. Add the spring onions, peas, carrots and soya sauce and fry on high heat for 2 mins.
  3. Reduce heat and stir-fry on low heat for about 3 more mins.
  4. Now add the cooked rice, salt, ajinomoto and stir well.
  5. Turn off the heat.
  6. Serve hot with sauce.
