Ingredients:

• Bottle Gourd pieces – 2 cups
• Channa dal – 1 tsp
• Urad Dal – 3/4 tbsp
• Fenugreek seeds – few
• Mustard Seeds – 1/2 tsp
• Dhania powder – 1/2 tsp
• Hing -a little
• red chillies- 4 small
• Green chillies – 4
• Coriander leaves a few sprigs
• Tamarind – a little
• Turmeric -a little

Method:

  1. Put a little oil in a kadai. Heat it and add channa dal, urad dal, fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds, red chillies, and fry it.
  2. After frying, put dhania powder, hing and green chillies.
  3. Then add the bottle gourd pieces and fry it for 10 minutes. Turn off the gas.
  4. Add salt, turmeric, tamarind, and coriander leaves.
  5. After it cools a little, grind it.
