Ingredients:

• 1/2 – Onion
• 2 tbsp – Garlic
• 1 inch – Ginger
• 500 gms – Tomatoes
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Salt
• 1/4 tsp – Pepper
• 1/2 cup – Sugar
• 1/4 cup – Vinegar
• Raisins – 10 -15
• Almonds – 6-7
• 1/2 tsp – Cardamom powder.

Method:

  1. Fry the onions, garlic and ginger together.
  2. Add tomatoes, red chilli powder, salt, pepper, sugar, vinegar and mix well.
  3. Boil for 10 mins and mash it.
  4. Add the raisins, almonds, cardamom powder and boil until it thickens.
  5. Allow to cool and store in sterilised bottles.
