
Ingredients:
• 2 Onions
• 5 ripened Tomatoes
• sprig of Curry leaves
• 1/2 tsp. of Turmeric powder
• 2/3 Green chillies
• 1/4 cup of oil
• Salt
• For grinding:
• 2 tsp aniseed
• 1.5 tsp Coriander seeds 6 Garlic pods
• 1 chilli powder
Method:
- Chop the onion and tomatoes finely. Cut the green chillies lengthwise.
- Heat oil in a pan, add the green chillies and saute for a min.
- Add the curry leaves, add the chopped onions along with little salt and turmeric powder. Saute them well.
- Grind the ingredients listed under that section.
- Now add the ground paste and saute until the raw smell is gone.
- Finally, add the chopped tomatoes and allow it to cook on a low flame.
- This gravy is thick in consistency. If needed you can also add a cup of water and bring it to boil.
