
Ingredients:
• 2-3 – tomatoes.
• 5-6 Cloves – Garlic
• 2 tbsp – chopped Onions
• Coriander leaves
• 2 tsp – rasam powder
• Mustard Seeds
• Cumin seeds
• Crushed pepper
• 1 tbsp – Tamarind Powder
Method:
- Boil the tomatoes in the microwave till very soft (for 6-7 mins). Allow to cool.
- Peel off skin and add some water and smash well.
- Extract only the tomato juice, leaving just the pulp behind.
- Try to extract as much juice as possible.
- Heat 3-4 spoons of butter in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, crushed pepper, chopped garlic and onions.
- Fry till soft.
- Now add the tomato juice.
- Add rasam powder, tamarind powder and salt.
- Allow to boil.
- Finally, add chopped coriander and remove from flame.
- Serve with hot rice and pappads.
- Or can also be served as an appetizer.
