
Ingredients:
• 1 large – Brinjal
• 4 – Green chillies
• small Lime size – Tamarind
• pinch of Hing
• salt to taste
• one small bunch – Coriander leaves
• For tempering:
• 3 tsp – oil
• 1/2 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 2 or 3 – Red Chilli (optional)
• pinch of Asafoetida (optional)
Method:
- Cut brinjal into small pieces and cook in very little water.
- Cool and grind with tamarind, coriander leaves, green chillies, hing and salt to a smooth paste.
- Temper with mustard, red chillies and asafoetida in oil.
