
Ingredients:
• 1 cup – Rice
• 1 cup – Jaggery
• 5-6 – Cardamom
• Cashew nuts – A few
• 3-4 tsps – Ghee
• 3 cups – Water
Method:
- First dry roast the rice ona simmer flame until it turns light red colour.
- Once it cools, powder it. Let it be slightly coarse.
- In a heavy bottom kadai, boil the water and add jaggery powder.
- Once everything starts boiling, filter it to remove dirt in jaggery.
- Now add the rice powder and transfer the mixture into a vessel. Pressure cook till 3 whistles.
- Once it cools, open the cooker and season it with cashew fried in ghee.
- Mix well and it is ready to serve.
