
Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup – Rajma
• 1/2 cup -moong dal (green)
• 1/2 cup -white peas
• 3 -onion cut into small pieces.
• 1/2 cup -tomato cut into small pieces
• 1/2 cup -tomato puree
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp -chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp -curry powder
• 1/2 tsp- Garam Masala powder
• 1/4 tsp -methi seeds
• 1/4 tsp- kalongi seeds
• 1/4 tsp- Saunf
• 1/2 tbsp -tamarind paste
• oil
• salt
• Coriander leaves for garnishing.
Method:
- Soak the dals separately overnight and cook it the next day.
- In a pan heat oil, add saunf and all the seeds.
- Once it starts spluttering, fry onions till light brown.
- Now add the tomato pieces and fry. Add the cooked dals, the dry powders and fry.
- Add tomato puree, tamarind paste, salt and fry until it becomes a thick gravy.
- Add a little water if necessary.
- Finally, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with pulkas or parathas.
