Ingredients:

• 2 big – Tomatoes
• 1 tbsp – Channa daal
• 1/2 tbsp – urad daal
• 1/2 tbsp – mustard
• 1/2 tsp – Methi seeds
• Lemon size – Tamarind
• A pinch – Hing
• 4 – Red Chillies
• 4 – Green chillies
• 4 tbsp – oil
• salt

Method:

  1. Fry channa daal, urad daal, mustard, methi seeds and red chillies in 2 tbsp of oil.
  2. When the mustard splutters, add the tamarind, hing and green chillies to it. Let it cool.
  3. Cut the tomatoes into small cubes.
  4. In a blender, first grind the seasoning and then add the cubed tomatoes.
  5. Add salt to taste.
  6. Grind until consistency is smooth.
