Ingredients:
• 6 – tomatoes, chopped (medium size)
• 2 -onions, big
• 4 – Cloves
• 1 cup – Basmati Rice
• 10 – Mint leaves
• 5 – broken Cashew nuts
• 3 tbsp – oil
• 2 tsp – Ghee
• For grinding:
• Ginger – 1 inch piece
• 7 flakes – Garlic
• 6 – Cloves
• Cinnamon – 1 inch piece
• 1/2 – Onion (chopped)
• 4 pieces – Coconut
• 10 – Red Chillies
• 3 – pepper
Method:
- Wash and soak rice for 10 mins.
- Drain water and fry for 2 mins in 1 tsp of ghee.
- Heat oil, add broken cashewnuts, cloves and onions, till the onion becomes light brown.
- Add chopped tomatoes and fry till it becomes soft.
- Add ground mixture and fry for 2-3 mins.
- Add fried rice and mix it well.
- Add 2 cups of hot water and allow it to boil for 3 mins.
- Add mint leaves, cover the lid and pressure cook for 5 mins.
