Ingredients:
• 1 cup – Toor Dal
• 3 – Red Chillies
• Salt to taste
• 1 tsp – Jeera
• 1/2 tsp – Urad Dal
• Curry leaves
• 2 tbsp – Oil
• 3 cloves- Garlic
Method:
- Fry the toor dal till golden brown.
- Fry red chillies, urad dal and jeera till golden brown and add curry leaves.
- Grind roasted Toor dal with little water.
- When half done, add fried red chillies, jeera, salt and grind to a smooth paste.
- Fry few pods of garlic and add to the chutney.
- Goes well with rice, idli, and dosa.
