
Ingredients:
• For the omelette:
• 6 – eggs
• 2 – small Onions cut
• 1 – Green chilli cut
• Green peas
• Cheese (grated)
• Salt to taste
• 1/2 tsp – chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – amchur masala
• For gravy:
• 1 – big Onion (cut into thin long pieces)
• 2 – tbsp Tomato puree
• 1 – tbsp Jeera powder
• 1tbsp coriander powder
• Chilli powder (according to taste)
• Turmeric powder
• Garam Masala
• Salt to taste
• Oil
• 1 – tbsp soya sauce
• 1 – tsp Ghee
• Ginger Garlic paste
Method:
- Take a bowl and beat the eggs.
- Add onions, green peas, chilli pieces, chilli powder and coriander powder and beat it again.
- Heat oil in a pan. When it becomes hot, pour the egg-mixture and fry as a single layer.
- When done, spread the grated cheese on the single layer of the omelette.
- Now fold the omelette from one side till you get about three layers.
- Cut the omelette into small square pieces and keep aside.
- To cook the gravy:
- Heat oil in a pan and when it becomes hot, add onions and fry until golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and fry again for a few minutes.
- Add jeera powder, coriander powder, chilli powder, and turmeric powder. Fry for some time.
- Add tomato puree and cook till oil separates.
- Add soya sauce and cook for a minute.
- Add the omelette pieces and cook for 1 minute.
- Add water around 2 cups and salt.
- Cover and let it cook till you get a thick gravy.
- Before serving add ghee and garam masala.
