Ingredients:
• Urad Dal – 1 cup
• Ginger – 1 inch
• Green chilli – 2
• Oil – 2 tbsp
• Curd – 4 cup
• Milk – 1 cup
• Sugar – 1 tsp
• Salt – to taste
• Black salt – 1/2 tsp
• Pepper – 1 pint
• Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp | Chilli powder – 1 pint
Method:
- Wash dal and soak in 3 cups of water for 1-2 hrs. Drain water.
- Grind dal with ginger and green chilli with sufficient amount of water to make a thick batter.
- Heat the oil, and keep the gas on medium-high.
- Make balls and fry.
- Drain the extra oil on paper tissue
- Mix milk to the curd and stir it well.
- Add all the ingredients and soak fried vada into the mixture for at least half an hour.
- Garnish with coriander leaves, and serve with tamarind chutney.
