Ingredients:

• 2 eggs separated
• 90g flour
• 90g Butter
• 90g Sugar
• pinch of baking powder
• 1/2 tsp vanilla essence

Method:

  1. Cream butter and sugar. Mix together flour and baking powder. Add beaten yolks of eggs and mix well
  2. Beat whites of eggs till they form white peaks Fold in with the flour mixture gently.
  3. Add essence.
  4. Pour into greased moulds and steam (for how long?).
  5. Serve with jam sauce.
