
Ingredients:
• 1 pack – Tofu (firm or extra firm)
• 2 – Onions (finely chopped)
• 2 – Green chillies (chopped or cut lengthwise)
• 1 – big Tomato (chopped finely)
• 1 – Capsicum (chopped into small cubes)
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder or Paprika
• 1/2 tsp – Garam Masala
• Salt – to taste
• 2 tbsp – oil
• Cilantro (finely chopped)
Method:
- Heat oil in a deep kadai or a non-stick pan. Add finely chopped onions, green chillies and saute them till onion is pink.
- Add tomatoes, spices, salt and cook till the masala is well done.
- Add capsicum (green pepper) and cook for 1-2 minutes in the masala.
- Crumble the tofu into tiny pieces and add to the masala.
- Cover and cook for 5 minutes. Then add a little chopped cilantro, mix it and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Serve it in a bowl garnished with chopped cilantro. Serve it with naans, parathas, rotis or bread.
