Ingredients:
• Rawa – 1 cup
• Onions chopped – 2
• Green chillies – 8
• Tomato – 1 small
• Coriander – 1 small bunch
• Curry leaves – 1 small bunch
• Carrot chopped and pre-cooked – 2
• Beans chopped and pre-cooked – 100 g
• Fresh Green peas pre-cooked – 1/4 cup
• Cloves – 2
• Cinnamon – 1 stick
• Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
• Lime juice – 1 tsp
• Cashews – 1 tsp
• Salt to taste
• For seasoning:
• Oil – 10 tsp
• Butter – 4 to 5 tsp
• Mustard Seeds and black gram
Method:
- Heat the oil and butter in a pan.
- Add cashews and fry till light brown.
- Then add the mustard seeds and urad dal. Let it splutter.
- Add curry leaves, chillies and onions. Fry well till the onions turn pink.
- Add pre-cooked vegetables and fry again for 2 mins.
- Then add tomatoes, powdered cloves and cinnamon with garam masala.
- Boil water in a separate pan and add to fried ingredients.
- Add salt, mix well for 1 minute.
- Then add rava slowly and stir well without forming lumps.
- Once done, add coriander leaves and lime juice.
- Serve with mango pickle or coconut chutney.
