Ingredients:
• 1 cup – Rice
• 1/2 cup – Pasta (crush the Pasta into small pieces)
• 1 – Carrot
• 1 cup – Mushrooms
• 1 – Tomato (big)
• 1/4 cup – Green peas
• 1/2 tbsp – cumin (jeera)
• 1/2 tsp – black pepper
• 1/2 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1 tsp – Dhania powder
• 1 tbsp – oil
• Salt to taste
• 2.5 cups – water
Method:
- Wash and soak rice and pasta for around 10 mins in a bowl.
- Wash and chop all the vegetables into small pieces.
- Heat ghee or oil in a pressure cooker and add jeera.
- When jeera starts to pop, add the chopped tomato.
- Cook for 2 mins and add all the other chopped vegetables to it.
- Cook for 1-2 mins.
- Drain the water from the rice and pasta mix.
- Now add rice and pasta to the vegetables. Add 2.5 cups water.
- Add salt, pepper, garam masala and dhania (coriander) powder.
- Pressure cook till two whistles.
- Serve hot with curd or ketchup.
