Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Rice
• 1/2 cup – Pasta (crush the Pasta into small pieces)
• 1 – Carrot
• 1 cup – Mushrooms
• 1 – Tomato (big)
• 1/4 cup – Green peas
• 1/2 tbsp – cumin (jeera)
• 1/2 tsp – black pepper
• 1/2 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1 tsp – Dhania powder
• 1 tbsp – oil
• Salt to taste
• 2.5 cups – water

Method:

  1. Wash and soak rice and pasta for around 10 mins in a bowl.
  2. Wash and chop all the vegetables into small pieces.
  3. Heat ghee or oil in a pressure cooker and add jeera.
  4. When jeera starts to pop, add the chopped tomato.
  5. Cook for 2 mins and add all the other chopped vegetables to it.
  6. Cook for 1-2 mins.
  7. Drain the water from the rice and pasta mix.
  8. Now add rice and pasta to the vegetables. Add 2.5 cups water.
  9. Add salt, pepper, garam masala and dhania (coriander) powder.
  10. Pressure cook till two whistles.
  11. Serve hot with curd or ketchup.
